Media Alternativa Public Association, best known for the TV8 television channel, is a media NGO active in the Republic of Moldova for over 8 years. The organization was founded by journalism professionals and is managed by a council of specialists in journalism, law, economics, civil society, and organizational management.

Over time, Media Alternativa has implemented more than 60 projects in partnership with various organizations supporting initiatives in areas such as public communication, accurate information, pluralism of opinion, and access to justice.

TV8 is a nationally broadcast television channel included in cable operators’ line-ups, with an active digital presence on major social platforms. Its content is broadcast bilingually, and the editorial team comprises approximately 120 employees.

The organization is involved in media content production, informational campaigns, and projects with social and educational components.
